What would Christ say to the church today? We don't have to wonder. The risen and ascended Lord Jesus speaks to His church through the book of Revelation. Having died for our sin and risen from the dead, Christ has ascended to the right hand of God and is now seated as King of all creation. In Revelation 1-3, we receive "messages from the throne."
